Standards for Admission

The standard for admission into a master’s degree program is a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Lipscomb will accept students of high academic potential. The following characteristics are indicative of high quality students:
  • Performance on the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)
  • Previous educational experience
  • Work experience
  • Leadership ability and strong communication skills
Students with an overall GPA of 3.40 and an accounting GPA of 3.40 (accounting courses only) may petition to have the GMAT waived. Final admission decisions will be based on the student’s overall portfolio.
